While waiting for Parvenneh Tunis marathon to start Team Finland will set up a pop-up marathon in Oran Algeria on Friday 13th February 2026. There are cheep fligts available from Spain to Oran, Algeria and from Oran You can take a direct flight to Tunis.

Oran is the capital of the Oran province on the Mediterranean coast of northwestern Algeria. ”Oran” means ”two lions” in the Berber language. Oran is Algeria’s second-largest city. Oran is known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and blend of Spanish-Moorish and French colonial influences. It is a hub for raï music, a popular tourist destination with attractions like Fort Santa Cruz, the Great Mosque, and beautiful beaches, and a bustling commercial center.

Park Mediterranean Akid Lotfi Garden. The park is a public park in Oran offering a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle and provides a green space for visitors to relax and enjoy nature. The route is 2,6km and means +16 laps.
